Let's cover what is taught in the first series of videos. The "How to Build a 100 Watt Solar Panel" series is hosted by Trevas Walker and is divided into four parts. Here's an overview of what's cover in each part of this video series.
In Part 1 of the solar panel videos you'll be given a complete parts list, and you'll learn about the advantages and disadvantages of choosing different types of parts. For example, you'll learn how you can use B-Grade solar cells to build a solar panel that produces the same amount of energy, but at a lower costs.
In Part 2, after you've collected the parts you need, you'll learn how to begin getting your solar cells ready for assembly into the panel. You'll be given step-by-step instruction on how to tab solar cells, and how to wire them into a series.
When you're finished tabbing your cells and you have them wired into their individual series, you're ready for part 3 of our videos. In this video we actually build and wire the solar panel itself. You'll be given step-by-step instruction to ensure your solar panel is built to last.
Finally in part 4 of the video series you'll be walked through testing and completing the final panel. At this point your solar panel is almost complete, and you just need to finish it up.
